We're all cards!

This was such great fun.
Ursula spent the day teaching us how to make cards.

Some of her lovely work to inspire us.

We soon had the tables awash with STUFF

We felt a little like kindergartners with all the cutting and sticking going on.
It was a wonderful day.
Lots of laughter with good friends and
a delicious morning tea too

The day the CEO didn't come..............

The Patch girls got up early today and baked,
some didn't even go for their early morning swim.
We put on gladrags and lipstick, packed our sewing bags with beautiful work
and turned up on time to be a welcoming committee.

We were expecting a visit from the Shire CEO,
we wanted to show him what a great little group we are and how fabulous it would be if the shire would consider us favourably when local business decisions such as clubroom rents are being discussed.
Sadly today he was unwell!
I hope it wasn't the thought of spending fun time with us that made him feel faint.
