Swap parcels across Australia

Swap parcels are starting to arrive in both Dongara and Narromine. It is exciting so don't forget to keep an eye on the Club Quilt blog too.

Jan sent this gorgeous  wall hanging to Isabelle and Isabelle sent the lovely cushion cover to Jan.
(Pics stolen from Clubquilt blog - Sorry Peg)

Here's what Sue sent to Carol - A work box with matching sewing kit holder.

Shirley's Quilt

Shirley had her "Breaking the Drought" at Patch tonight. The pic doesn't do it justice as the lighting was a bit harsh but you get the gist of it. A magnificent effort Shirley.

Breaking the Drought

Back a while...was it last year?
Lisa Walton came to do a workshop with The Patch.
Mary W's gorgeous quilt has been featured on Lisa's blog for all the world to see.
Congratulations Mary on a wonderful finish.
footnote: Mary is known in the blogworld as Maria.

Another day's dyeing completed....Well almost

Just home from yet another dyeing day. This time graciously hosted by Irene.
Inspired by the results of our last dyeing day in the photo below...

We packed the jars full of soda ash, salt, dyes and fabric then scattered them in the sun to stew.

Some people tried their hand at painting the dye onto the fabric with good results. Can't wait to see Linda's "Bush Fire" piece all stitched and embellished.

All the colours of the rainbow were mixed today plus a few more and a few of us will be turning up to work tomorrow with interestingly coloured fingers

"Chantelle"

Chantelle aka Show and Tell is always a favourite part of our meetings. Here's a few finishes from the last one.
This one is our completed raffle quilt. It's been beautifully quilted by Lesley Finch of Finch's Nest
Tickets will be for sale well before our Public Hanging in October. Isn't it fabulous?

Donna modelled the hat she made.

These two lovely quilts were both made by Mary W.

The little Mug Bag with matching coaster was shown by Mary P.
Mary made the bag from a kit which included the clever coaster and that's Pat hiding behind this stunning boy's quilt she made.
Well done to everyone for the terrific projects..
