The two together were the raffle prizes. No phone messages when I got home ...so I guess I didn't win.

Gone to Geraldton
This Little Quilt of Love has gone off to Geraldton as Mary's entry to their club challenge.
It is destined to be judged before finding it's way to a worthy cause.

A raffle in the making
Loris is in charge of deciphering the pattern.......are there 88 units in orange and navy?
Or was that 36 of those and 88 of the yellow ones? Are these blocks 9 inches or nine and a half?
Donna can smile now, she is a perfectionist and some of those pieces were not exactly square.
Dilemma...do we re-cut the fabric or teach Donna to "fudge"?
Now production is underway......Teena has the goods rolling out of the sweatshop.
Who would have believed it. The pattern works, the pieces fit and the seams are straight.
Another day's work and it will be ready for quilting.
You'll have to wait to see the finished pattern and then the search for quilters will be on. Any volunteers?

Donna's quilt
Back a few weeks ago I tried to take a picture of Donna's "Breaking the Drought" but the photo was so blurry I couldn't post it.
Now the quilt is nearly finished, just a little of the binding still to go. Isn't Donna's colour selection fabulous. Reminds me of fields of pink everlastings out in the bush.
BTW...the girls in the background are not exceedingly tall, they just happened to be sitting up on the verandah watching the photo shoot.
