Done and Dusted - 2010 Public Quilt Hanging at Dongara

There are lots of tired but happy little quilters in town this week. The Patch's Show is finished and everyone is very pleased with the success of the whole effort.
We must congratulate our Pres. Loris who worked tirelessly to make sure it all went to plan.
Loris, your blood is worth bottling!
Some random pics follow.
Let's start with snaps of the unpacking of display stuff for Helen's amazing Christmas Room.

Mary and Kerry awaiting instructions

Helen's DH Wayne building walls.

Donna's DD setting up stands

First one person, then two and finally three rig up the fishing nets in the Beach Display
Ros' DH Rob was very handy, he set up dozens of stands to hang the quilts from and obligingly reached all the high places we girls couldn't manage.

Back to the Christmas Room. There was lots to do and so many willing to help.
Thanks to everyone involved.

So much activity and eventually things started to take shape.

There will be more pictures soon to show you how it all looked on the day.
