Friends

came to share in a Friendship Day yesterday.
The Patch was so pleased to invite quilters from Geraldton and Mingenew clubs to share the day with us, Sandi drove the bus full from Gero.

There was food to feast on and plenty of "Chantelle" to feast our eyes on too.

The display was a treat with quilts hanging from every available thing and the chantelle was a source of inspiration for everyone.

Some of these quilts are prizes to be raffled and some are winners at quilt shows. Some are much loved favourites and some newly finished projects.

Dorothy and Jocelyn are cousins. They remember visiting this house as children and Dorothy brought along a photo of herself taken in 1935. She was standing under this exact tree 75 years ago!

Then after a lovely day of friendship our visitors piled back onto their bus and we waved them farewell.
